Year 5 Remembrance Assembly-11th November 2016
On Friday 11th November 2016, we held a Remembrance Assembly to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers. All children had individual lines to learn, poems to recite, songs to remember and perform. These all dated back and related to past and present wars.
This assembly was shared with the rest of the school and the parents/guardians of our Year 5 classes.
We held a two minute silence to pay respect and remember those soldiers who gave their lives for ours.
A huge well done to both Year 5 classes on their performances and respectful tributes.
