On Tuesday 29th November 2016, year five experienced a fantastic World War immersion day.
The class had the opportunity to handle artefacts, explore local memorials through visual aids, learn about the important role animals played during the war, ask many questions and take part in various role play activities.
All the year five pupils and staff would like to say a special THANK YOU to Esprit who delivered the day and provided it free of charge.
We would also like to say a big THANK YOU to Miss Power from the Children's University for organising the experience.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
