On Thursday 9th March 2017, both year five classes visited the World Museum in Liverpool as part of our topic work on Ancient Egypt.
When we arrived, we had some free time to look around the various exhibitions in the building including the World Culture Section and the National History Centre. Then we took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop where we learnt some new and interesting facts. We also got to hold some Egyptian artifacts. After lunch, we again had some more free time to visit and look around the Aquarium, the Bug House and the Dinosaurs.
An enjoyable and interesting day was had by all.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
