Science Chemical Reaction Experiment~16th March 2017
On Thursday 16th March 2017, we took part in a Science experiment using vinegar and baking powder to see what chemical reaction happens when they are mixed.
First, we poured vinegar into a bottle. Then, we sieved baking powder into a deflated balloon until it was filled. Next, we placed the deflated balloon on top of the bottle and tipped the baking powder into the vinegar.
The mixture of vinegar and baking powder changed state and formed a new material which caused a chemical reaction and resulted in the balloon inflating.
