Children in Reception class during the first half of the autumn term will take part in classroom based physical activities, as well as making full use of our Reception garden.
After October half term, children will receive a more formal lesson. They will not have to change for PE at this time, but will be allowed time to experience the structure of a formal lesson, along with being introduced to basic skills.
In January, children will receive a formal lesson, where they will be required to wear a kit. Information on Reception PE lessons will be communicated to parents as soon as details (days, COVID procedures) are finalised.
