On Friday 20th May we went on a fantastic trip the to Museum of Liverpool and took a ferry across the Mersey.
In the museum we had the opportunity to try some of the 'hands on' activities, we also learnt how the Port of Liverpool is important for the import and export of everyday items.
After lunch we all boarded the Royal Iris ferry and set sail on a cruise of the River Mersey. We sat upstairs on the ferry and looked at all the awesome buildings along the side of the river, some of them we had already talked about in our topic lessons.
