Guided Reading

Every day we enjoy doing our Guided Reading sessions with our teachers. This week 'Donaldson' were reading a play called 'The Ant and the Grasshopper' written by Emma Alexander. 

 

Our AFs (the things we have to think about) this week were:

 

* To read with an expressive reading voice, taking into account a wide range of punctuation.

 

* To use appropriate character voices.

 

We thought about character voices, discussed the use of punctuation and rehearsed during our sessions.

 

We then performed our play to the rest of the class!
