Exploitation Awareness Workshops- 23rd March 2017
This week we have received two visits from teams specialising in raising awareness on child exploitation.
One team talked to us about the term 'grooming' and what it means.
We discussed our own access to social media and what action to take if contacted by a stranger online.
The other team talked to us about Gangs, and the long term affects of joining a criminal Gang. We all contributed to ideas on the impact criminal offences can have on your life.
These sessions were very informative and raised our awareness on how to stay socially safe.
