29.01.16 Science - Can you get a bulb to light up in a circuit?
We are really enjoying our 'Electricity' topic this term in Science.
We have had a go at building series circuits, naming the components and were set the challenge:
'Do all materials conduct Electricity?'
We had to create an investigation and found out that some materials are conductors (such as metals) and others are insulators (such as plastic). Did you know that a banana conducts electricity!! It is because of the potassium inside which is an electrolyte!
