24.11.15 Maths Day 2015
On Tuesday 24th November we had a wonderful Maths Day full of problem solving, investigations and fun. The day began with a whole school assembly. We were all very surprised by the arrival of Pirate Morgan who appeared out of the PE Cupboard! Pirate Morgan had joined us for our Maths day. We spent the day in exciting workshops and problem solving in class to help Pirate Morgan find his treasure. We were tested on our number, shape and direction. The good news is – We succeeded! Pirate Morgan has left Springwell smiling and is returning to the Caribbean on his Good Ship Mathematics. We are lucky to have such great problem solvers in Springwell!
