Your Country Needs You!
We have now started our new History topic 'Your Country Needs You'. We started by looking at 2 very old pictures, noting the things that we could see in them and trying to understand what that meant.
For example, one picture showed four women cooking in a very basic kitchen. This made us wonder where the men where and what they were doing. After a lot of enquiry work we found out that the two pictures were of families during World War One, and that that was to be our new topic.
Last week we also made poppies to wear for the Year 5's Remembrance assembly on the 11th November.
