Our Baby Birds
We found a birds nest in our outdoor area. Two blackbirds built a nest in the milk crates and collected twigs to make their nest bigger. A couple of days later the mummy bird laid three eggs. We were very careful not to frighten her. The eggs hatched and three baby chicks were born. We watched them grow and saw the mummy bird feeding them. When the birds got bigger and grew feathers they came out of the nest and learnt to fly!
