What a busy day!
As you know we were meant to go on a trip to Formby Woods to help us with our topic 'Into the Forest'... but the woods were closed for the day! We could not believe it when Mr Nottingham rang us to tell us it had closed because of bad weather!
BUT Mrs Webley got on the case and managed to quickly book us into the Odeon to watch 'Into the Woods' instead!
It was just like our book! Lots of different fairy tale characters met in the woods accidentally and in the end had to work together to defeat a giant that climbed down Jack's beanstalk. We had a great time watching it!
When we got back to school we had a play outside and then enjoyed hot chocolate and banana loaf baked by Mrs O'Neil. It was delicious!
