Shadow Puppets
This half term we have been learning about light and shadows. We have undertaken several investigations to figure out whether light travels in a straight line, as well as how shadows are formed and how we can manipulate shadows.
Once we knew how to manipulate shadows, such as making them bigger or smaller, we created our own shadow puppets to perform a play! We were inspired by the amazing Attraction off Britain's Got Talent who had learnt to manipulate shadows to create stories. We watched the video at the bottom of this page and then began to build our own shadow puppets based on nursery rhyme stories.
