Literacy
In Literacy this week we have started our new unit - Instructions. We have been looking at the importance of imperative verbs, such as pour, push, attach, measure, pick and place. We found it quite hard - when verbally instructing our partners to build a lego structure without them seeing the original - to give simple, concise instructions. We realised we needed to make every little step a command and emphasise any action by using a strong, imperative verb.
