Aztec Jewellery
The Aztecs wore lots of jewellery made out of natural materials and gems found in the Mexican rainforests. We found out that the poorer Aztecs wore jewellery made out of wood. The richer Aztecs wore beautiful jewellery made from gold, silver and turquoise. We had a go at making our own jewellery out of clay. We looked at the shapes and patterns the Aztecs used and tried to emulate them our designs.
