Academic Resilience and Mental Health

At Springwell Park we are passionate about developing the whole child and are proud of our nurturing ethos. As part of our aim to improve pupil emotional wellbeing, we are pleased to be working with Young Minds as part of a pilot for the Academic Resilience framework.

Young Minds is the UK's leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

Young Minds also provide support for parents on how you can support your child's emotional needs.

See below for handy tips on how to support your child through periods of change.

Forest School

As part of our Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework, we are pleased to be able to introduce Forest School as part of the curriculum.  Research shows that Forest School has a significant impact upon promoting positive mental health alongside essential life skills. Forest School will be gradually rolled out across all year groups.

Our Forest School lead is Sarah Coyle.
