UNICEF
On Monday morning we had a special assembly about the work of the charity Unicef. We learnt that Unicef is a charity is dedicated to helping children around the world, They have even drawn up a charter of children’s rights that are recognised all around the world.
In class we looked at these rights known as articles. We focused on article 6 The right to life, survival and development, article 19 The right to protection from violence, abuse and neglect and article 29 the right to an education. We produced some posters and in groups then presented our ideas and to the rest of the class.
