Sustrans Puncture Mending

We are going bike crazy in Year 5 this week with another free course! We were incredibly lucky to work with Kathryn and Mary from SUSTRANS this afternoon. They taught us how to mend a bike puncture without using water (which is the easy way!). We learnt how to use a quick-fix patch as well as how to use a professional puncture repair kit using rubber solution (glue) and a patch. We are now so good at fixing punctures that we have invited our family members to come to school next Tuesday (1st October) and learn how to mend a puncture with us as their teachers!
