Sparks

 We began this topic thinking about fire, the dangers of fire and how firemen helped us when a fire started. We had a visit from a local fireman. We asked him lots of questions about how firemen fight fires. Everyone enjoyed bonfire night but we know how to enjoy this sensibly as we made lots of safety posters! Year 2 enthusiastically found out about the Great Fire of London and how Samuel Pepys made an important diary. We also studied electricity and how circuits are put together.
