Remembrance Day
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1. Today it was 'Remembrance Day' when we remembered all the people who have died in wars.
We remembered soldiers, nurses, cooks and all the other people. We watched a video about World War 1 and Remembrance Day. We discussed how life would have been for loved ones if some members of their family died in the war.
At 11.00am we held a 2 minute silence to remember them.
We all got a commemorative penny dated between 1914-1918 as it is the 100th year. This will remind us to 'remember them'.
