Refraction and reflection
Today we completed several investigations based on the reflection and refraction of light. We investigated the effect bending mirrors to refract light had on an image. We refracted the light to create a hall of mirrors for some toys.
We also investigated the refraction effect when light travels through water. Can you see what has happened to the image of the pencils in the water?
Using our knowledge of reflection, we created a periscope effect using two mirrors to see over and around obstacles.
On the laptops, we completed a game to shine the beam of light on to various objects in a park by reflecting it using mirrors at different angles.
