Poetry Week
This week it was Poetry Week. For our homework we had to talk about our favourite poem and some of us wrote poems with help from our grown ups. On Monday we had a special assembly with a poet Ian Bland. He read us some of his poems and we joined in. Each year group had a Poetry Workshop with Ian and in Reception we wrote Action Poems. It was great fun. We have been learning some new poems this week and we will be performing our favourite ones in assembly on Friday.
