Poetry Day- Springwell Love Is...

We had a fabulous visitor for Poetry Day!- Ian Bland!  He had lots of fun and exciting poems to share with us!

 

After our first assembly with him we went on to his web page and found a poem called 'Mum's Love Is...'

 

We changed it into one for our school!

 

Take a look:

 

Springwell's Love Is:

Warmer than the shimmering sun,

Deeper than the silvery sea,

Stronger than a bouncing boulder,

Wider than the Mysterious Moon,

Sweeter than sugar,

Kinder than Christmas Cheer,

More fun than a cheeky chimpanzee,

And Cozier than a fluffy fleece!
