Our Viking Longhouses
Throughout this week we have been creating and painting our Viking Longhouses. Firstly, we had to build the structure of the longhouse, including the roof. Next, we had to cover the boxes in white scrap paper to cover all the colourful lettering so that it would be easier to paint. Then, we started to paint the buildings in dark muddy greens and browns. Finally, some of us stuck grass to the roof to create a more life-like version of a longhouse.
