In February, Miss Webley went to Acorn Farm and collected some eggs. In class we put the eggs into the incubator. We watched the eggs in the incubator for 21 days. On Day 21 the chicks began to hatch out of the eggs. It was very exciting. The eggs slowly began to crack and the chicks made their way out of the eggs. When the chicks first came out of their eggs they were not very fluffy and they struggled to stand up. After a few hours we could move the chicks into a litle pen in our class. We have loved looking after the chicks and watching them grow.
