Bicycle/Road Safety
On Tuesday 30th April and Tuesday 7th May some of the year five pupils are taking a bicycle course. They will be learning how to fit and adjust their helmets properly; appropriate clothing to be worn; how to check their bicycles for faults and how to repair them. They will also be taught how to ride their bicycles correctly on the road including how to get on their bicycles from the correct side; setting the pedals; checking for traffic; hand signal manoeuvres and turning left or right at a junction.
