Advent

This week we have been learning about the Christian festival 'Advent'.

We had good fun making Christingles and were able to tell
each-other what each part of the Christingle represents!

 

Orange - the world
Red Ribbon- Jesus' blood/God's love
White Candle- Jesus is the light of the world
4 Sticks- 4 seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter
Sweets - presents/gifts of the world

 



We also had our Christmas dinner in school this week! We got to pull Christmas crackers and wear Christmas hats
